Women
The
women of Grand Prairie Bible Church are honored and blessed to serve
as an integral part of the church's ministries. The Women's
Ministries are designed to nurture fellowship among women, organize
women to work and serve together, and help meet the needs and
interests of women in and outside our church family. These ministries
provide love, encouragement and opportunity for women to serve our
Lord, grow in their Christian faith, and communicate Christ's love
to other women both in and outside the body of Christ.
SonShine Club: The SonShine Club is a
parent's-day-out and homeschool Christian education program for
children ages 18 months through 7th grade. A well-planned academic and
Christ-centered program is taught in all grade levels. Classes meet
Thursdays during the school year from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Contact

MOMS GROUP: The moms of young children meet monthly for a topical study, prayer, fellowship, food, parenting advice and encouragement. Contact person is Tyra Martin and Leslie Gates..
Dance Ministry: Children's
Dance is under the direction of Courtney Johnson and meets on
Thursdays.
The dance ministry meets at the following times:
- 9-9:30AM : Dance Connection (3 year olds)
- 2-7PM : Dance Connection (ages 4-13)

Women's Bible Study: An in-depth Bible study is held each school year as a ministry to
ladies who attend Grand Prairie Bible Church as well as an outreach
to other ladies in the community. This ministry is designed to equip
women of all ages and backgrounds with Biblical principles for
application into their daily lives. Tuesday Morning: 9:30 a.m. to
11:30 a.m. or Wednesday Evening: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Contact
persons for Ladies Bible Study are Linda English (Tuesday Class) and
Louise Swain (Wednesday Class).
Ladies Sunday School Class: Helen Bartel leads the ladies in expository Bible teaching and prayer
during the 9:15 a.m. Sunday School hour during the Fall & Spring
Semesters.
Women's Retreat: The retreat is a ministry to the everyday needs of women in our
contemporary culture. The ladies spend a weekend away from their
normal routines in fellowship with each other around God's Word.
Guest Bible teachers are invited to share their unique teaching gifts
in an informal, relaxed setting. Speakers have included Jodie
Capehart, Vickie Craft, Elizabeth Averill, and Anne Livesay.Contact

Women's Fellowship Night: Ladies
meet together periodically for fellowship and creativity. Individual
nights feature scrapbooking, stamping, quilting, sewing,
cross-stitching and personal discipleship.
