Our children's ministry is here to serve you and your child in a loving, nurturing, and safe environment. Your child's spiritual, emotional and physical growth is important to us and we want to work with you to help your child "grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

We have various opportunities and programs for children of all ages.

Nursery
Parents will greatly benefit from our nursery ministry that is available on Sunday mornings during our Sunday school hour and our morning worship service. The nursery will also be up and running on Sunday nights from September through May so that our adults can be involved in our Sunday evening small groups. Safety and care are our top priorities in the nursery.

Sunday School
We provide Sunday School for children ages two through fifth grade. Children's Sunday School is during Adult Sunday School at 9:15 AM. Classes are divided by age and grade. We use an excellent curriculum called Children Desiring God.

Children's Choir
Children's Choir is during the worship service at 10:30 AM and is for ages 5-12. The children first go in the worship service with their parents and then they are dismissed to Children's Choir. We also have a Children's Church Service during the Adult Sunday School at 9:15 AM.

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) Bible Clubs
Each Sunday evening children and their leaders meet for Awana Bible Club from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Club time is divided in three areas: games, counsel time, and verse time. Each week children are encouraged to finish sections within their Awana Books that contain vital Bible verses and other important Bible facts. An awards ceremony is held each evening to recognize achievement, as well as a year-ending awards assembly to honor those students and their leaders who have completed work for the year.

Sonshine Club
Each Thursday we offer a Parent's Day Out program from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for ages 2 years through 7th grade. Each class has a structured curriculum and work in a fun, friendly and nurturing environment. Homeschool classes will offer two main subjects each year to aid parents in their homeschool curriculum.

Dance Ministry: Children's Dance is under the direction of Courtney Johnson and meets on Thursdays. The dance ministry meets at the following times:

• 9-9:30AM : Dance Connection (3 year olds)
• 2-7PM : Dance Connection (ages 4-13)

Kid's Camp
Each year the children ages first through fifth grade attend children's retreat at Pine Cove Camps in Tyler, Texas. Children spend a weekend in the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas under the leadership of Pine Cove staff and our own parents and teens.

Vacation Bible School
Summers mean vacation & VBS. We offer a full week of Bible stories, songs, crafts, skits and outdoor activities. We encourage families to bring friends to this exciting and evangelistic outreach.
