Senior Pastor - Bill Eubanks

Bill came to Christ Community in 1994. He enjoys being involved in all aspects of a full-orbed ministry: preaching, evangelism, discipleship, teaching, and counseling. "I enjoy it all. But mostly, I enjoy doing it here! Christ Community is a unique and lovely people. The ministry, encouragement, and spiritual stimulation have been mutual between myself and these saints."

Bill studied at Southern Methodist University (B.B.A., 1977), The University of Arkansas School of Law (J.D., 1982), and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M., 1987).

Bill and his wife, Fran, are natives of Arkansas. They married in 1979. They have a son, Will, two daughters, Helen and Janette, and several grandchildren.

His interests today are his family, friends, discipling men, and reading - particularly Reformation history and the transmission history and reliability of the Bible. “The story of how God's Word has come to us is a fascinating story, filled with drama and conviction. It has liberated people and entire societies. I count it a privilege to be called by God to bring that redemptive Word to people today.” Bill also enjoys target shooting, watching Blue Bloods, and the Arkansas Razorbacks – “the finest collegiate sports program anywhere!”

Chris came to Christ Community in 2017. An evangelist by calling, Chris lives to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Chris studied at Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville (B.A. 2004, MSSW 2007), and currently studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. Chris has a great zeal for reformed theological studies, particularly the reformation view of soteriology and the doctrines of justification and sin. Chris and his wife, Ally, are natives of Kentucky. They married in 2009. They have a daughter, Scarlett, who fancies herself a Super-Hero Princes and one son, Malachi, a beginner Ninja. Chris loves Jesus, his family, and Qdoba, in that order.         Jerome Jacobsen came to Christ Community in 2005.  He’s been involved in several of the church’s ministries – particularly in the men’s events and ushering. A native of North Dakota, Jerome earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University in 1980.  He came to work in the aerospace industry in the DFW area because he didn’t want to shovel snow in the morning to go to work.  After 30 + years employment he hasn’t decided if he is between jobs or retired. Some of his interests include cycling, reading, occasional woodworking projects, following the most successful college football team of this decade, and helping his brother with work on the family farm up in North Dakota.
